In 2010, Espíritu Lauro was born in honor of its founder, Don Lauro Martínez, who developed the original formula that has been distilled in his family’s palenque since the 1920s.
Its home is San Agustín Amatengo, a small town with a deep-rooted mezcal tradition, known for its natural and meticulous process.
